Sta. Clara International is now a Quadruple A Licensed Contractor

On April 9, 2017, Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC) received the highest license given by the Philippine Contractors Association Board (PCAB) as a Quadruple A or “AAAA” construction company in the country.

The prestigious AAAA license is awarded to construction companies that satisfy the high technical expertise, building track record and financial capability of at least a net worth of php 1 Billion by PCAB, the implementing board of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP).

According to PCAB’s latest statistics, they have issued a total of 9,044 licenses of different categories from AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B, C, D and E. In terms of size, large contractors accounted for 5.4 percent of the total contracting population. Medium-sized contractors comprised 33.1 percent while small contractors still remained the majority of licensed contractors at 61.5 percent. Out of 9,044 total licenses granted, there are only 8 Quad-A construction companies for 2016 – 2017. SCIC is the 7th company to be given such a distinction.

With a parade of featured projects from the Power, Infrastructure and Manufacturing industry, SCIC’s upgrade from AAA to AAAA will strengthen SCIC’s mission to be the country’s prime partner in nation-building and its commitment to continue to deliver legacy projects with the highest standards of quality and safety.
