Sta. Clara International Corporation Joins Brigada Eskwela 2016

Carmona, Cavite - In the spirit of volunteerism, Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC) – through StaClaraCares - actively participated in the Department of Education (DepEd)’s National School Maintenance Week also known as “Brigada Eskwela” at Carmona National High School in Cavite.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide program that aims to bring together teachers, parents, and community members to prepare schools for the start of classes in June. This year, DepEd will be holding its annual Brigada Eskwela from May 30-June 4, 2016, with the theme “Tayo Para sa Paaralang Ligtas, Maayos, at Handa Mula Kindergarten Hanggang Senior High School”.

In its second year of participating in Deped’s Brigada Eskwela, SCIC donated various painting materials and offered to paint the chairs and walls at the said school. “Corporate Social Responsibility has always been an integral part of how SCIC does business and has always played an active role in promoting education and nation-building”, shared Mr. Fernando Delgado, Chief Executive Officer of SCIC.
