With its continued commitment to creating sustainable legacies through nation-building, Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC) was recently recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for the company’s excellent service to the Philippine construction sector. SCIC was among the six (6) Service Excellence awardees in the private sector during the Exporters’ Night held at the Marriot Hotel, Pasay City last December 6, 2022. The event was spearheaded by DTI in partnership with the Export Marketing Bureau (EMB), Export Development Council (EDC), and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) as part of their National Exporters Week (NEW) 2022 activities.
Divided into two categories; Top Sectoral Awardees (10) and Service Excellence Awardees (6), the honored exporters were chosen based on their innovative & competitive service performance in their respective sectors. Meanwhile, 28 government agencies involved in trade regulation were also recognized during the event along with 6 EDC Committee Chairmen for spearheading the country’s continuous resilient growth in trading amidst the constraints posed by the pandemic.
The Service Excellence Award was given to companies that exhibited exemplary performance in penetrating the international market which supported the country’s trade efforts:

In his speech, Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual commended all of the institutions and companies present for their perseverance in going above and beyond the unpredictable fluctuations of the country’s economy for the past year. Furthermore, he also emphasized the need to constantly adapt and be more aggressive in pursuing innovative systems and processes enabling the country to be more competitive in the international market moving forward.
