Naujan, Oriental Mindoro — On February 20 2016, the 8 MW Catuiran Hydroelectric Power Plant Project team of Sta. Clara International Corporation (SCIC) was commended for reaching over 1 Million Safe Man Hours without any Lost Time Incident (LTI).
Project Manager Mr. Albert B. Mendoza congratulated the team saying, “This is truly a remarkable achievement— made possible through the conscious effort of each team member put forth day in and day out to continuously review surroundings and look out for all through the job hours. Safety is not just about numbers. It’s about protecting workers and the community from injury and harm.”
“Managing safety is never an easy job and unless you have a 100% committed team, it is difficult to achieve a milestone given a very challenging environment. SCIC’S 8 MW Hydroelectric Power Plant Project is an example in this respect.” Said SCIC Chairman and President Mr. Nicandro G.
